Fragrance Care Guide

Fragrance is meant to be experienced.

This guide is here to help you get the most out of every Krystal Care Co. product — how to wear it, care for it, and make it part of your everyday.

Perfume Sprays

Apply to pulse points like the wrists, neck, and behind the ears.

Let the fragrance settle naturally on your skin instead of rubbing it in. For better longevity, apply to hydrated skin and store your bottle away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and major temperature changes.

Fragrance can wear differently from person to person, which is part of what makes it personal.

Perfume Oils

Roll onto pulse points and let your body heat slowly warm the fragrance.

Perfume oils wear closer to the skin than sprays, creating a softer, more intimate scent experience. A little goes a long way, so start lightly and build from there.

Keep your roller upright when possible and store away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Layering Fragrance

Fragrance doesn’t have to be a one-bottle-fits-all experience.

Try wearing a perfume oil beneath a spray, or combining two fragrances you already love. Layering can make a scent feel warmer, softer, fresher, deeper, or completely different.

Start lightly and pay attention to what changes when the fragrances meet.

There is no single right combination. The point is to discover what feels like you.

Candles

The first burn matters.

Allow the wax to melt evenly toward the edges of the vessel during the first burn to help prevent tunneling and encourage a more even burn throughout the life of the candle.

Trim your wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn and do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Approximate burn time:
8 oz candles — up to 40 hours
4 oz candles — up to 20 hours

Always burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.

Stop burning when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

Reed Diffusers

Insert the reeds and allow them time to absorb and disperse the fragrance.

Use more reeds for a stronger scent or fewer for a softer experience. Flip the reeds occasionally when you want to refresh the fragrance, keeping in mind that frequent flipping will use the diffuser liquid more quickly.

Place on a stable surface and wipe up spills immediately to help protect furniture and finishes.

Car Diffusers

Remove the stopper, secure the wooden lid, and briefly tilt the bottle to allow a small amount of fragrance to absorb into the wood.

Return the bottle upright after refreshing. There is no need to completely saturate the wooden top.

Avoid contact with dashboards, plastics, upholstery, paint, and other finished surfaces. Cars can become extremely hot, so always make sure your diffuser is secure and properly closed.

Caring for Your Fragrance

Keep fragrance products away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, and major temperature changes.

Close bottles securely after use and store upright when possible.

Slight changes in fragrance color can happen naturally over time, especially in formulas containing ingredients like vanilla.

Make It Yours

Wear fragrance the way it was created, layer it, change it with the season, or make it completely your own.

The more attention you pay to what you actually enjoy, the easier it becomes to understand your own taste.
